Football: Mission Viejo is site for two-day event

Mission Viejo High will be the site for a three-game football classic next weekend.
It starts with the host Diablos playing Bakersfield Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
Then comes a doubleheader on Saturday, with Long Beach Poly facing Crenshaw at 4:30 p.m. and Corona Centennial facing Mater Dei at 8 p.m.
The Brothers in Arms Classic will take place at San Diego Cathedral, with St. Bonaventure facing Helix on Saturday at 8 p.m.
On Sept. 5-6, Oceanside High will be the site for the Honor Bowl. Oceanside will play Mission Viejo on Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 6, Orange Lutheran will face Corona Centennial at noon; San Diego Cathedral will play Oaks Christian at 4 p.m. and Gardena Serra will take on Washington Bellevue at 7:30 p.m.
