A one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Roman Ale with 34 seconds left in the second quarter has given City Section Division I champion Narbonne a 14-7 lead over Concord Clayton Valley in the CIF state championship Division I-A bowl game at Sacramento State.
It has stopped raining, and Narbonne’s defense is doing its best to try to contain Clayton Valley’s power rushing attack.
Sean Riley has the other touchdown for Narbonne on a two-yard run. Tre Walker contributed a 45-yard reception on a screen pass to set up the Gauchos’ second TD.
Ale is five of eight for 102 yards.
