Football: Oaks Christian tight end Colby Parkinson commits to Stanford

Oaks Christian tight end Colby Parkinson was obviously waiting for a scholarship offer from Stanford, because when it came, he wasted no time in making his college choice.
The 6-foot-7 junior announced on Saturday he has committed to Stanford.
Parkinson is a three-sport athlete considered one of the top tight ends in California.
