There’s no break for Narbonne’s Jamal Hicks

Narbonne safety Jamal Hicks made sure he was easily identifiable on the football field at Sacramento State in Saturday’s CIF state championship Division I-A bowl game.
He wore neon green around his waist, his shoes and his arms. He could have been one of those signal guys on an aircraft carrier.
Hicks is having so much fun that after 16 weeks of football, he’s set to join the basketball team as the starting point guard on Monday.
“I don’t take breaks,” he said after Narbonne’s 28-14 win over Clayton Valley.
Three other football players will join him on the basketball team, which is 3-2.
We’ll see if he wears any neon clothing in basketball.
