Volleyball: Muno-Caputo advance at Youth Olympics

The women’s beach volleyball team of Zana Muno (Sherman Oaks Notre Dame) and Skylar Caputo (Mira Costa) have advanced to the final round of eight after two victories on Sunday at the Youth Olympics in China.
They won their first match over a team from France by scores of 21-17, 21-14.
Then they defeated a team from Latvia in three sets, 21-14, 19-21, 15-13, and will face the McNamara sisters, Megan and Nicole, from Canada on Monday. Muno and the McNamara sisters are all committed to UCLA.
