Update: The always-entertaining Lubomir Visnovsky could provide a big boost to the Ducks’ defense, and, in particular, the power play. Visnovsky has been out of the lineup since suffering a broken finger on his right hand on Nov. 11. “I am so excited for tomorrow,” he said Tuesday after practice. “Twenty-four hours, and I hope I will be playing. It’s not definitely. I think it’s 90% [possible].” Not on hand and presumably in major discomfort was center Ryan Getzlaf, who was suffering flu-like symptoms. “He had the stomach flu today,” Ducks Coach Bruce Boudreau said. “I’m hoping it’s like the seven-hour stomach flu.” Center Saku Koivu, out with a lower body injury, reported feeling a lot better and skated on his own before practice. Center Rob Pelley and defenseman Mark Fraser, acquired in a trade with New Jersey on Monday, arrived in Anaheim and practiced. The Ducks slid to last in the NHL standings, dropping to that spot after Columbus beat Vancouver in a shootout Tuesday.
