Ex-NBA star Gilbert Arenas has mansion listed for $3.5 million

A lot has changed for Gilbert Arenas since he signed a six-year, $111-million contract extension with the Washington Wizards in 2008.

He was traded to Orlando in 2010 and then amnestied Dec. 9. In March, he signed as a free agent with Memphis, where he worked for a minimum salary of $300,000 and averaged only 12.4 minutes a game.

His NBA career has most likely petered out, forcing the 30-year-old guard to put his D.C.-area house up for sale.

The house, more accurately referred to as a mansion, has seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a grotto and a shark tank (which costs $5,000 a month in maintenance bills).

The estate, which he bought in 2003 for for $2.875 million, has reportedly been on the market since June 15 for $3.5 million.
