Authorities responded to a fight outside the Ritz Carlton at L.A. Live at approximately 6:15 p.m. during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Fans were congregated outside nearby restaurants, including The Farm, watching the game on television monitors when authorities cleared the alley and put up a barricade.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene and a stretcher was wheeled past the barricade, though no one was taken away in the ambulance and it did not appear any immediate arrests were made.
Authorities and L.A. Live security declined comment on the incident.
Afterward, fans not inside the establishment were told to keep walking or otherwise “the TVs will be turned off,” police said.
