Update: The Sparks, who had a five-game winning streak snapped in a 92-59 loss to Atlanta on Friday, are off to their best start since 2003. They have three players who are averaging double-digits in scoring: Candace Parker, Kristi Toliver and Nneka Ogwumike. The Silver Stars, who have lost two of their last three games, are led by Sophia Young and Becky Hammon, who are averaging 14.4 points and 14 points, respectively. The Sparks are in second place in the Western Conference; the Silver Stars are in third, 5 games behind the Sparks.
