Fan keeps Twitter vow to storm All-Star field, gets body-slammed

Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to have Twitter accounts.
Some people don’t deserve to do really cool things -- like, say, attend the All-Star game -- that many of us never get the chance to do.
And some people need to be gently nudged back into reality when they get a bit carried away.
A dude who goes by the Twitter handle @MasoneDylan is all those people wrapped up in one.
Apparently it wasn’t enough just to be in attendance Tuesday night at Citi Field in New York. He had to tweet out this promise:
1000 RT’s and ill run across the field.. #ASG #CitiField — dyl (@MasoneDylan) July 16, 2013
He must have underestimated his own popularity -- or the public’s interest in seeing something really stupid but amusing happen. The message has been retweeted more than 3,600 times.
Give the guy some credit -- he’s a man of his word:
alright.. i guess have no choice.. gonna try to get out by left field — dyl (@MasoneDylan) July 17, 2013
And he’ll even stand up to his mom in order to be such a stand-up guy:
ma stop yelling at me... pic.twitter.com/a2ly1HFxs7 — dyl (@MasoneDylan) July 17, 2013
Naturally, this didn’t end well for ol’ Dylan. He did make it all the way out to second base before stopping and raising his arms to the oncoming security guards. The first one who got to him didn’t care -- he slammed the rebel with a really lame cause straight to the ground anyway.
I guess the security guy didn’t buy the “i got 1000 rts” excuse either.
