SAN ANTONIO -- Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Friday for flopping in the second quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Bosh sprawled out on the court after San Antonio’s Tim Duncan used his hip to set a screen as Spurs guard Gary Neal drove to the basket for an apparent layup Thursday.
Duncan was called for an offensive foul on the play, which took place with 6:07 left in the second quarter of Miami’s 109-93 victory that evened the series at two games each.
Game 5 is set for Sunday in San Antonio. The Finals then shift to Miami for the remainder of the series.
Bosh had 20 points and 13 rebounds Thursday, a breakthrough of sorts after a slew of sub-par games.
Bosh was not available for comment Friday. Both teams were given the day off by their coaches.
