UCLA linebacker Jordan Zumwalt drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers

UCLA’s defense continues to produce 2014 NFL draft picks.
Linebacker Jordan Zumwalt became the third Bruins defensive player to be selected when the Pittsburgh Steelers chose him Saturday with the 16th pick of the sixth round, the 192nd overall pick.
Zumwalt is the fifth UCLA player to be drafted, joining linebacker Anthony Barr (first round, Minnesota Vikings), offensive lineman Xavier Su’a-Filo (second round, Houston Texans), defensive lineman Cassius Marsh (fourth round, Seattle Seahawks) and receiver Shaquelle Evans (fourth round, New York Jets).
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Zumwalt, who played at Huntington Beach Edison High, made 93 tackles and intercepted two passes last season for the Bruins.
He shared most valuable player honors at the Hyundai Sun Bowl with teammate Brett Hundley, the Bruins’ quarterback.
