USC quarterback Cody Kessler and center Max Tuerk were named to the Phil Steele preseason All-America team.
Kessler, a fifth-year senior, passed for 39 touchdowns, with only five interceptions, last season.
Tuerk, a senior, will start at center for the second season after playing guard and tackle as a freshman and sophomore.
Junior linebacker Su’a Cravens and sophomore cornerback Adoree’ Jackson were named to the second team. Jackson, a dynamic kick returner, also was named as a second-team specials teams player.
USC opens the season Sept. 5 against Arkansas State.
The Trojans finished 9-4 in 2014 in Coach Steve Sarkisian’s first season.
