This month we will preview each USC freshman who will join the team in training camp.
Player: Isaiah Langley
Position: Defensive back
Number: 17
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 165 pounds
High school: Pleasanton Foothill
Hometown: Hayward
High school: Langley stood out on defense and also caught 33 passes, 12 for touchdowns, as a senior receiver. So Langley is expected to get looks on both sides during training camp or practices this fall.
USC defensive back breakdown: Senior Kevon Seymour and sophomore Adoree’ Jackson are returning starters at cornerback and freshman Iman Marshall is expected to push for immediate playing time. Langley is among other freshmen who could find roles as a back-up or on special teams.
Season prediction for Langley: Will try to gain experience in several roles.
