USC’s Su’a Cravens looking to make more big plays against Stanford

Su’a Cravens made one of the key plays in USC’s victory over Stanford last season.
Cravens intercepted a pass with about three minutes left to set up a game-winning field that gave the Trojans a 20-17 upset over the Cardinal at the Coliseum.
The sophomore safety would like to make more big plays on Saturday when USC plays Stanford in a Pac-12 Conference opener at Stanford.
“I want another pick,” Cravens said Wednesday.
Cravens could be deployed from several spots on the field.
Coach Steve Sarkisian said Cravens’ versatility allows the Trojans to utilize him close to the line of scrimmage, deep in coverage “and everything in between there.”
In its 45-0 victory over UC Davis, Cravens said Stanford showed it will pass as well as run.
“I want to be on the field to where they can’t run to my side,” he said. “I mean, I want to do that with every team we play, but there’s something about Stanford that gets me fired up.
“So I’m ready.”
