USC picked up a commitment from tight end Cary Angeline in the 2016 recruiting class on Friday.
“Proud to announce that I’m committed to the University of Southern California Trojans. #FightOn,” Angeline wrote on Twitter, accompanied by a photo in the Coliseum with tight ends coach Marques Tuiasosopo.
Angeline made an unofficial visit to USC in April.
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Angeline caught 67 passes for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2014 season at Downington East in Exton, Penn.
Angeline, who has more than 30 offers, is the first tight end to commit to USC’s 2016 recruiting class.
