Boys’ basketball: 6-9 Chimezie Metu commits to USC

Chimezie Metu, a 6-foot-9 junior at Lawndale, has committed to USC, Coach Chris Brownlee said.
“I think he’s going to be a power forward,” Brownlee said.
Athletic and a good rebounder, Metu has improved each season at Lawndale.
Another 6-9 junior at Lawndale, Brodericks Jones, just picked up an offer from Washington State.
