Football: QB Sam Darnold of San Clemente is attracting recruiters

Versatile and athletic, 6-foot-5 Sam Darnold of San Clemente is picking up scholarship offers from a variety of schools from around the country.
Nevada, Utah, Tennessee, Northwestern, Wake Forest, San Diego State, Colorado State, Yale and Harvard are among the schools who have told Darnold they want him.
He’s from the same school that produced Utah quarterback Travis Wilson.
