Local high school players headed to nationals in rugby

The Santa Monica U18 boys’ rugby team, made up of 30 players from 18 different high schools, won the SoCal Rugby championship this past weekend and has been invited to play in the High School National Invitational tournament this weekend in Elkhart, Ind.
Among the high schools represented on the team are Beverly Hills, Cathedral, Crespi, El Segundo, Harvard-Westlake, LACES, Loyola, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Palisades.
