India: Tour highlights locations in ‘Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’

Geringer Global Travel’s 14-day “Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” tour begins and ends in Delhi, with stops along the way in Agra, Jaipur, Shahpura Bagh, Jodhpur and Udaipur.
Highlights include a rickshaw tour of Chandni Chowk and its colorful bazaars, one of the oldest markets in Delhi; a half-day tour of Ravla Khempur, which stood in as the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in the film; lunch at the 19th century Castle Kanota, the Viceroy Club in the movie; a sunrise viewing of the Taj Mahal; and a meeting with the Bishnois people, whose 500-year-old belief system includes protecting the environment.
Dates: Custom dates May 1-Sept. 30; Oct. 1-Dec. 20 (with rate increase).
Price: From $2,740 per person, double occupancy; $150 off per person if booked by May 1. Includes accommodations, all breakfasts and some lunches and dinners, all excursions and sightseeing tours as well as entrance fees. International airfare not included.
