Supreme diva Diana Ross brings ‘Endless Love’ to Vegas in April

Reporting from Las Vegas — Stop! In the name of Diana Ross: The diva with a five-decade career inked a nine-date residency at the Venetian, bringing her Motown classics and hits to Las Vegas in April.
Detroit native Ross, who started her career in the early 1960s with The Supremes, is creating a special show for the Venetian Theatre, according to a Monday announcement.
“The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade,” will open on Apr. 1.
The singer’s first hit with The Supremes, “Where Did Our Love Go?” helped kick off a seven-year reign on the charts. “Stop! In The Name of Love,” and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” are just some of the songs to come out of that original girl group.
In 1970, Ross went solo, adding ballads such as “Endless Love,” and “Touch Me in the Morning” to her repertoire. “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “I’m Coming Out” and “Why Do Fools Fall in Love” round out her catalog of big hits.
This limited engagement promises to showcase a curated set list of Ross’ musical milestones.
