The birdies recorded by golfer Greg Norman, Johnny Miller and Craig Stadler during the Masters Golf Tournament produced a $3,700 contribution to the Nancy Reagan Drug Abuse Fund by Spalding Sports. All three use Spalding balls, and the company pledged $100 for each birdie they recorded. Norman, who lost the title in a playoff to Larry Mize, had 15 birdies while Miller and Stadler each had 11.
