Lomita : Hearing on View Measure

The city’s new view-protection ordinance will be discussed at a public hearing next month. The ordinance is designed to prevent new construction and additions that might lower adjoining property values by impeding views.
Discussion will include whether the ordinance should be restricted to construction south of Pacific Coast Highway, where most hillside property is located, or extended to other areas.
