Links Chapter to Honor ‘Fame’ Star

Debbie Allen, singer, dancer, actress and star of the “Fame” television series, will be honored by the Palos Verdes chapter of Links, a black women’s organization, at a carnival ball Saturday at 7 p.m. at Stouffer Concourse hotel near Los Angeles International Airport. Proceeds will benefit the Jenesse Center, a Los Angeles shelter for battered women, and Norris Community Theater in Rolling Hills Estates.
