An 18-year-old North Hollywood man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to vehicular manslaughter in connection with a high-speed police chase in Sun Valley in which another motorist was killed.
Motorcyclist Robert Wade Still was captured April 5 after police chased him at speeds up to 70 m.p.h., authorities said.
A 54-year-old pizza parlor operator was killed when the pursuing squad car collided with the man’s pickup truck on Tujunga Avenue, police said.
Still, who is free on $2,500 bail, was ordered to return to Van Nuys Municipal Court May 27 for scheduling of a preliminary hearing.
