Although an avid Laker fan and Celtic hater, I fully understand Kevin McHale’s response to the taunting and arrogance of that fan in the stands at Milwaukee. I also fully understand Sleepy Floyd’s reaction to the haughty posturing of Michael Cooper. By the same token, I hope you can understand my being appalled at the reckless writings of your Mike Downey.
Four-letter words? Seven-letter words? I can only think of a 10-letter word that would best suit Mr. Downey: Unemployed .
