Pair Arrested on Child Sex Abuse Count

LAKESIDE — A couple have been arrested on suspicion of child molestation and pornography after sheriff’s investigators raided their home and seized sex paraphernalia and films, including a movie that purportedly showed one of the suspects sexually abusing a 14-month-old child.
A San Diego County Sheriff’s Department spokesman identified the suspects as Brock Edward Watson, 38, and Donna Lee Weber, 21.
Two children, ages 6 and 9, were found at the residence, but investigators said they were not involved in sexual activity and were placed in protective custody.
Stolen Property Allegations
Detectives began investigating the couple in January, when they delivered warrants to Watson stemming from allegations that he had received stolen property, investigators said.
When they delivered the warrants, detectives searched the house and seized several pornographic films that depicted children involved in sexual activity.
Katherine Elaine Evans, 27, also was arrested.
Investigators said, however, she was arrested for outstanding warrants and was not charged with child molestation or pornography.
Lakeside is an unincorporated community northeast of San Diego.
