‘Overriding Democracy’

With his eloquent speech about the investigation into the Iran-contra scandal, Gen. Secord stated that the entire world is laughing at and distrusts us because of the baring of the facts of this scandal. On the contrary, he has the “cart before the horse.”
It is his Administration, President Reagan and his advisers, who have brought shame and distrust of the United States around the world.
Who brought on this scandal but President Reagan? There lies the responsibility.
