Council OKs Convention Center Team

A program management team headed Leo A. Daly, of the Leo A. Daly architectural and engineering firm, has been approved by the City Council to serve as project manager for a 920,000-square-foot expansion of the Los Angeles Convention and Exhibition Center.
Daly’s team includes Robert E. McKee Construction of Glendale in association with CH2M Hill of Santa Ana, Benito A. Sinclair & Associates of Los Angeles, structural and civil engineering consultants, and CKT Associates of Van Nuys, community and public relations consultants.
The existing 590,000-square-foot facility will be expanded to about 1.4 million square feet.
