San Diego police are investigating the possibility that an elderly woman found dead in her North Park home Wednesday may have been the victim of a slaying.
Police found the body of the victim, Grace Hayden, 79, at 2:21 p.m. An autopsy was to be performed today.
Authorities said that unspecified evidence at the home in the 4400 block of 36th Street indicated that the death may have been a homicide, but no other information was available.
