CHICAGO — The FBI named two reputed members of the Puerto Rican extremist group FALN to its 10 Most Wanted list Friday.
The two additions to the list were Claude Daniel Marks and Donna Jean Wilmott, who are wanted in an alleged conspiracy in the summer of 1985 to free FALN member Oscar Lopez from prison in Leavenworth, Kan., FBI and state police officials said at a news conference.
A federal warrant was issued in December charging Marks and Wilmott with conspiracy to violate laws prohibiting prison escape, damage and destruction of government property, receipt and transportation of explosives, interstate travel to promote criminal activity and possession of unregistered firearms.
The FALN, which aims to make Puerto Rico an independent nation, has claimed responsibility for numerous bombing incidents.
