Righetti High of Santa Maria won eight of nine sets in singles play to defeat Canyon, 12-6, in the second round Friday of the Southern Section 2-A boys tennis playoffs at Canyon.
Mark Vukanovich beat Joel Gutierrez, 7-5, for Canyon’s only singles victory.
