SOUTHERN SECTION BASEBALL PLAYOFFS : Naulty, Fhyrie Combine for 3-0 No-Hitter

Ocean View High School’s Dan Naulty (8-2) pitched five innings and Mike Fhyrie two to combine for a no-hitter at Ocean View Friday, defeating Channel Islands, 3-0, in the first round of the Southern Section 4-A baseball playoffs.
Vick Fresca was 3 for 3 with an RBI for Ocean View (19-6). Eric Christopherson was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Mike Dandran had an RBI single.
Channel Islands finishes 16-10-1.
