If I were a programming exec at a local TV station, during sweeps week, I would do a story on a Nielsen family.
Each Nielsen family being representative of thousands and thousands of TV homes, if I did a story on one, they’d watch themselves and drive up my ratings.
But no, nobody would do a story like that . . . it wouldn’t be honest.
