Local News in Brief : Woman Sought After Man Stabbed to Death

Los Angeles police homicide investigators are searching for a woman who is suspected of stabbing her boyfriend to death early Saturday morning.
Lt. Bruce Blake said the woman, Gregorio Maximo, 23, allegedly stabbed John Mizer, 23, to death in a home on the 7600 block of Balboa Boulevard in Van Nuys.
Police were summoned to the house about 3:45 a.m. and found Mizer lying on the floor, Blake said. Mizer was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
