Human bones were unearthed at a Malibu-area campground in Malibu Creek State Park, raising the possibility that the area may once have been an Indian burial ground. Authorities notified Chumash tribe representatives and arranged for an archeologist to examine the remains. The bones were discovered by a park employee who was digging a sewer line to a new camp at Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road. Artifacts previously have been found in the area.
