Construction has begun on the $13.5-million, 60,000-square-foot Santa Monica Medical Office Building on 16th Street near Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica.
The three-story structure will provide about 45,000 square feet of professional space for physicians, and will also include a pharmacy and coffee shop. It is a joint venture of Century West Development Inc., Dr. Tom Rockwell and the Business Enterprise Development Services division of Santa Monica Hospital Medical Center.
Completion of the complex, designed by Los Angeles-based Langdon Wilson Mumper Architects, is scheduled for December, 1988.
