The Region : Kidnaper-Rapist Gets 146-Year Term

A man convicted of kidnaping and raping a 19-year-old Palmdale woman was sentenced to 146 years and eight months in state prison. Eric Lars Anenberg, 36, of Northridge, was convicted in Superior Court last month of 22 counts of robbery, rape, kidnaping, forcible oral copulation and sodomy. His sentence was enhanced because of his conviction in 1977 for raping another young Palmdale woman. That incident was later the subject of an NBC-TV movie, “Mrs. R’s Daughter.”
