Former open champions Jim Cascio and Diane Green regained their titles in the American Amateur Racquetball Assn.’s national singles tournament at Houston.

Cascio, 24, of Lancaster, Pa., won the championship for the first time in three years by upsetting top-seeded Andy Roberts, 21, of Memphis, 15-9, 15-12, in the men’s final.

Green, 28, of Orlando, Fla., who won the five-day event in 1982, shocked last year’s champion, Cindy Baxter, Sunday in the semifinals and then defeated Kaye Kuhfeld, 24, of Indianapolis, 15-8, 15-10, in the women’s final.
