About 200 people were evacuated from the Santa Clara County Superior Court building in San Jose when a natural gas line was broken by digging equipment at a nearby construction site. No one was injured. San Jose Fire Capt. Dennis Madigan said wind carried gas into the court building. The pipe was repaired quickly and evacuees were allowed to return within a half an hour.
