Washington’s State Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling that Washington State University has unconstitutionally discriminated against women’s athletic programs.
According to the court, men’s athletic programs received $3.01 million, while women’s programs received only $689,000 during the 1980-81 school year, the last year before the case went to trial.
