THOUSAND OAKS : Rally to Protest Bush’s Gulf Actions

A rally to protest President Bush’s handling of the crisis in the Persian Gulf is being planned by the Conejo Valley Democratic Club, the National Organization for Women and SANE/FREEZE, a disarmament advocacy group.
The Saturday demonstration will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Moorpark Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
“George Bush is viewing this as a personal war,” said Terri Grando of the Democratic club. “And we don’t need that, and he doesn’t have to do it.”
