Sepulveda Man Dies in Head-On Collision

A Sepulveda man was killed Friday afternoon when his pickup truck collided head-on with a car in Chatsworth, Los Angeles police said.
Officials said John Hagan was traveling east on Lassen Street near Oakdale Avenue about 1:45 p.m. when his truck crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with a car driven by Sidney Schwartz of Chatsworth. Hagan died at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Officer Steven Schiltz said.
Schwartz was in good condition, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
