Robert Wall has been named chairman of Advanced Interventional Systems Inc., an Irvine developer of laser systems for cardiovascular applications. He succeeds Raymond Williams Jr., the company founder, who will become vice chairman. Succeeding Wall as president is Tom Allen, formerly executive vice president. Wall, who joined the company in 1987, retains the title of chief executive.
