Corona del Mar 52, Estancia 47--Jon Upham had 24 points and eight rebounds to lead host Corona del Mar (7-9) to the upset of the eighth-ranked Eagles.
Laguna Beach 97, Moorpark 63--Leading, 39-37, at halftime, visiting Laguna Beach took command with a 34-10 third quarter.
Mission Viejo 86, Trabuco Hills 72--Bill Denny had 32 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Mission Viejo (5-10).
In the Sunset League:
Ocean View 74, Santa Ana 54--Ocean View cruised to a 21-10 lead after one quarter. Santa Ana’s only threat came in the third quarter after a Chauncey Woolridge (19 points) dunk completed an 8-0 run to close the gap to 40-32.
But Ocean View (8-6, 2-0) made 12 of 13 free throws in the final period to help seal the victory.
