I would like to commend NBC for airing the “Lifestories” episode dealing with AIDS (Dec. 18). This excellent program was both objective and informative, and we urgently need more of the same. Thanks, also, to the many sponsors who chose to remain involved with this broadcast despite threatened boycotts by conservative pressure groups.
