Man Hanging Onto Moving Car Killed

A man was killed in Normal Heights Friday night after he slammed into a metal post while hanging onto the outside of a moving car, San Diego police said.
Homicide detectives questioned driver Israel Benton, 32, after the incident, which occurred about 6:45 p.m. in an alley of the 3100 block of Adams Avenue.
The victim had not been identified Saturday.
