CSUN Loses in Volleyball 3rd-Place Match

The Cal State Northridge men’s volleyball team was swept by Cal State Long Beach in the third-place game of the UC Santa Barbara tournament, 15-7, 15-8, 15-6, on Saturday night.

Neil Coffman was named to the all-tournament team for Northridge, which will play host to UCSB in a Western Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. opener Friday. USC, the defending national champion, defeated Stanford in the final, 15-4, 15-3, 15-3.
