U.S. Gas Prices Fall: Gasoline prices across the nation fell nearly 7 cents the last two weeks as a result of traditionally lower winter demand, the Lundberg Survey said. The average price of all grades at full- and self-service stations was 133.43 cents per gallon Friday, a drop of 6.85 cents since Dec. 21. Gasoline prices jumped from 117.71 cents per gallon July 20--before the invasion of Kuwait--to 147.09 cents Oct. 19 before easing. “Combined with the leveling off of year-end demand, about 63% of that (post-invasion) price hike has been corrected,” analyst Trilby Lundberg said.
