MOORPARK : College to Start Walk-In Sign-Ups for Spring Classes

Moorpark College, whose mail-in registration period ended last week, has scheduled walk-in registration beginning Jan. 25 for spring semester classes.
Nearly 12,000 students are expected to enroll for the spring term, which begins Feb. 5. College officials said prospective students who sign up during the walk-in registration period must first get a registration permit.
The permits will be available starting today.
Walk-in registration will be weekdays from Jan. 25 to Feb. 1 in the campus center cafeteria. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Those wanting to register for the classes offered at Simi Valley, Royal, Newbury Park, Westlake and Oak Park high schools, or for five classes given by television, can also sign up at a lower-level booth near Bullock’s in The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks.
Mall registration is available Jan. 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Jan. 26 and 27 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Mail-in registration forms must have been postmarked no later than last Friday.
